nostalgia

Recently, my friend Layla took a few photos of me (just for fun) and the turned out quite nicely. I love the way she edited them and gave them a slightly yellowed, grainy-effect that adds a level of depth and nostalgia to the photos. The more I look at them, the more I realise how perfectly representative they are of my current headspace.

They're symbolic of a chapter coming to a close: my high school years. The angst exuding from them can only be created during teenage-hood and I am finally letting that go... I'm moving on.

Although, the corduroy skirt and skull loafers also definitely help with the angst-ridden school girl image.
